Workshop Overview

 This interactive workshop teaches participants the 6 essential human skills required to co-exist with AI, stay relevant in a rapidly changing workforce, and become more effective students, job seekers, and employees.


Participants engage in real-world scenarios, breakout discussions, and role-playing activities designed to build confidence and practical mastery.


Applicable to both the 3-hour Immersion version and 6-hour Professional version.

Workshop Curriculum

Welcome & Orientation

  • Instructor introduction
     
  • Workshop goals and expectations
     
  • Why human skills matter more in the AI era
     
  • Quick participant icebreaker 

Skill #1 - Co-Existing With AI

  • Understanding AI’s impact on every job and industry
     
  • The human–AI partnership mindset
     
  • “AI won’t replace humans - but humans who use AI will replace those who don’t.”
     

Task: Exploring Your AI Relationship

Participants discuss:

  • What AI tools they have used (if any)
     
  • What excites them about AI
     
  • What fears or uncertainties they have
     
  • Where AI may help them in school, job search, or work


Groups create a simple “AI Comfort Scale” from 1–5 and share where they stand.

Skill #2 - Adaptability & Lifelong Learning

  • Why adaptability is the #1 predictor of long-term success
     
  • How to learn faster in a changing workplace
     
  • How to remain flexible in unfamiliar situations
     

Task: Responding to Change

Participants choose one scenario (e.g., new technology at work, shifting responsibilities, sudden changes in job search strategy).
They discuss:

  • Their initial reaction
     
  • What emotions they feel
     
  • How they could respond more flexibly


  • Groups present one strategy for “becoming more adaptable tomorrow.

Skill #3 - Passion & Grit

  • How setbacks build strength
     
  • Reframing failure as growth
     
  • The mindset of resilient students and employees
     

Task: Your “Bounce Back” Story

Participants share a personal or professional challenge they faced.
In small groups, they identify:

  • What made it difficult
     
  • What they learned
     
  • What resilience skill they used


Optional extended version: peers coach each other on how to handle a similar challenge in the future.

Skill #4 - Communicating & Connecting

  • How to speak clearly and confidently
     
  • How to influence others through tone, structure, and presence
     
  • Professional communication in workplaces and interviews
     

Task: Influence Challenge

Participants pair up and practice a short scenario, such as:

  • Asking for help
     
  • Resolving a misunderstanding
     
  • Persuading someone to support an idea


Each person practices both roles.
Peers give simple feedback: “What worked?” and “What could improve?”

Skill #5 - Critical Thinking & Problem Solving

  • How to analyze information quickly
     
  • How to avoid assumptions and cognitive bias
     
  • Making better decisions in school and work
     

Task: Real-World Decision Scenarios

Groups receive short workplace dilemmas (e.g., conflicting information, unclear instructions, customer issues).
They discuss:

  • What facts they need
     
  • What assumptions they should challenge
     
  • What a good decision looks like
    Groups present their recommended solution and reasoning.

Skill #6 - Integrity & Empathy

  • Why trust is the most valuable currency
     
  • Acting with honesty and ethical judgment
     
  • Empathy as a professional advantage in the AI era
     

Task: Empathy in Action

Participants practice responding to challenging interpersonal scenarios, such as:

  • A frustrated customer
     
  • A stressed coworker
     
  • A misunderstanding in a group project
    They identify:
     
  • What the other person may be feeling
     
  • The most empathetic response
     
  • What they would say
    Optional extended version: role-play the scenario for deeper practice.

The Human Skills Action Plan

Participants build a simple improvement plan:

  • One skill to improve in the next 7 days
     
  • One skill to improve in the next 30 days
     
  • AI tools that can help them practice these skills
    Optional: choose an accountability partner.

  • Participants share one skill they will apply immediately
     
  • Open Q&A
     
  • Certificate or follow-up instructions
